Hi everyone
Well - Bob had his first real full day out today & seems to have been OK.
We drove over to the village where he lived as a child & many of his family still live - Gnosall in Staffordshire, & we took Russ & Nadine out with us too. As it was a rather pleasant day we took a lovely drive all round the back country lanes - really pretty, except for those areas & fields that are sadly drenched with swollen rivers & all this rain. But if you look beyond that you can see the start of spring trying to peek out everywhere. There were loads of snowdrops everywhere & some areas have crocuses & daffodils well on the way. So here's hoping spring is around the corner.
As we usually do when we go over to Gnosall we visited his parents grave & put some flowers down. Then we went to visit one of his brothers who has not been too well & is in a residential home. Fortunately at the time we visited, his wife was there visiting him as well - so we had a nice long visit with them both.
After that we stopped for something to eat & then made our way home again. All in all a very pleasant day.
Tomorrow we may have a visit from Gareth & Elayne as they hope to be picking up the engagement ring - can't wait to see.
So, with the day as it has been - there has not been any crafting done here - perhaps over the weekend. I think there is rugby tomorrow - so I will probably slip in here then for a while.
Whatever you have planned I hope you have a great weekend. More tomorrow - night night.
