just chatting
Hi everyone I hope you have had a good weekend.
Yesterday I did some more of the whitewash technique & have a couple of samples to show you which I will put up tomorrow. Most of the day was spent with domestic tasks & spending some time trying to get my club paperwork organised for the next 3 months. Think I have managed OK.
Today we took advantage of a nice day & the fact that Bob is a little more comfortable driving now (although I think we may have travelled a bit too long) we went for a very nice drive around the countryside. We started by taking some rubbish to the local tip, then made our way to Mold, out through Denbigh & over the Denbighshire Moors, on through the beautiful country lanes just turning off left or right as it took our fancy. We drove out as far as Betws y Coed, & on to Llandudno then home. We did take a break for a coffee around Betws y Coed.
It was lovely seeing the countryside getting its spring gown on - lots of daffodils around, the trees beginning to come into leaf, also quite a few primroses & of course the young lambs enjoying the sunshine in the fields. Makes you feel that also summer is just around the corner too.
'Bye for now - photos tomorrow.
