More white washing

Hello everyone - today I have the extra photos on  the white washing technique to show you.  I ordered some white ink refills from a Stampin' Up demonstrator & they actually arrived on Friday. They weren't expected until today - so I had time to try it out again, at the weekend.  A much better finish was achieved.  I stamped 2 images  - one on kraft card & one on a light grey.  Here they are;

Today I have also made a couple of items that are samples for a workshop I will be doing in April down at the Craft Shop.  I discovered the card a couple of weeks ago & studied how it was made. Then this weekend on C&C one of the companies is selling kits for it.  Never mind - it is always better to make these things for yourself.

I decided to also make on the workshop a complimentary gift bag to go with the card - we have made the bag at one of our meetings some time ago at our previous venue.




and it folds flat to go in the envelope.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C
