Mold II photos- Part 1

Good morning all.

This morning I have the first set of photos from the Mold II meeting on Tuesday evening.  This set is the photos of their Show & Tell where I asked if they remembered "Inchies" & then asked them to make some "Twinchies".

"Inchies" you may remember are 1" squares of card - so "Twinchies" are 2" squares of card.  I left the theme & colour open for their own choice.

Here is what they made;

Helen is currently into making what she calls "messy backgrounds", so that is how she made her Twinchie, along with a John Next Door die-cut flower.

Elizabeth too had a multi image stamped background & then used a stencil & embossing mousse to add the flowers at opposite corners.

Carolyn made 4 Twinchies & used Dreamees flowers to decorate them along with a stamped text background.  Different methods were used to colour each of the flowers.

Three Twinchies from Annette. The one with the little girl on is using a Bee Crafty stamp.
The other images are so cute - love the bird & the saying under the umbrella.

Alma made 3 Twinchies with these beautiful leaves on & then placed them on a DL card. We don't have a photo of the back of the card - but Elma always put something on the back of her cards & for this one it is another leaf Twinchie.

Madeline also made 3 Twinchies on a similar theme & placed them on a DL card.  The colour of the stamping co-ordinates really well with the background paper & ribbon.

A really good Show & Tell ladies.

The thing with Twinchies is, because they are just that bit bigger they do make lovely multi toppers for cards.  They can be made from left overs of others cards you are making then put to one side until you feel like embellishing them & voila you have toppers for another card.

That was another one of those statements where I think I have stated a good idea & then never seem to remember to do it myself.

A big thank you to Carolyn for taking & sending me the photos.

That's me for today I have the photos from the project for Tuesday evening & will post them probably tomorrow.

'Bye for now.
