CSNW photos
Good afternoon everyone.
Last night was the October meeting for the CSNW ladies club, so today I have photos of their project for the evening.
CSNW ladies are the first ones to have the Pop-up Accordion Card as their project, so we didn't have a Show & Tell in order for all the time to be used on putting the card together.
Everyone remembered to come along with their paper & card already cut to size. A couple of ladies were missing so we were down to six for the evening.
Here are their cards;
Ann
Ann's card was in beautiful shades of purple - rather than the blue tones that the camera has created.
The main side of the card was variegated stripes which went so well with the floral squares attached to it. Ann also put a couple of stamped squares onto her card.
Grace
Really bright pink from Grace - much pinker than the camera has picked up.
But the more neutral patterned squares look really good on it & again, Grace has also added some stamped greetings.
Gwen
Such beautiful colours from Gwen with the burgundy main colour really setting off the patterned squares containing similar colours.
Ruth
I love the pink & green combination in Ruth's card.
Sadly I can't remember what the wording is on the pink paper & if I blow up the photo it becomes distorted. But I am sure it was Christmassy.
Kate
Kate's card is in different shades of a neutral tone with a leaning towards light orange.
I believe Kate is going to put some embellishments on the squares
Claire
Claire is well known for her very soft natural colour schemes - on this card cream, beige & white shades. All rounded off with some pretty die-cut flowers & butterflies.
Claire also created a tag to sit on the inside base.
Well done ladies you made some beautiful cards.
I look forward to seeing a couple of this one during the next year.
Two of the ladies missing last night have all the information to create this card - so I am hoping that at the November meeting they will bring their card with them for us to see.
I hope those of you who are going to the stamp festival have a nice time. I shall want to know what you all bought. Have fun!
That is it for today. 'Bye for now.
