CSNW Photos

 Good afternoon everyone & a very Happy New Year.

This afternoon I am here with the firs of the 2021 club photos & today it is the January project for the CSNW ladies.  I sent the instructions to them, along with a sample card photo via email

Here is one of the samples - it is a bookmark card;


Now for the cards made y the ladies. There are several photos for each one.

Amy said dhe enjoyed making the card but did find the bookmark space difficult
even though she only used a thin line of glue.

Grace said she found the card good to make once she had decided on papers.
Always the hard part Grace.

Ruth said she read the instructions a couple of times before starting on the card

My photography isn't too good for this one.

Amy I had the same problem with inserting the bookmark.  If making this again I would cut the card a little longer but use the same score lines - then the bookmark pocket should be wider & the same size bookmark would fit easier.

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C
