Because I wanted the design to be seen by anyone passing by -  we just get to see the white background. Never mind.

Mold II Christmas Lucky Dip Cards

Image
Good morning everyone. UPDATED later in the afternoon Due to the problems I had I missed including Carolyn's wishes. As there is a possibility of more cards arriving I will update this as necessary, I have just added Gwneth's & Rita's cards at the end of the blog post & the message from Agnes Normally at this time of year, at our last meeting, we have a Christmas Card Lucky Dip.  Carolyn suggested that anyone who wanted to made a card to display here that was to the other members. Also to keep ip for themselves as if it was from someone else in the club. Where the ladies have made any comments about their cards I have entered them here (in italics) So, today I have photos of those cards;                     Agnes I Wish everyone a Merry and safe Christmas and Best wishes and a better 2021 Annette My Christmas card to share with the group and wish everyone best wishes for the festive season. Carol Merry Xmas to all Carolyn Carolyn wishes everyone a very Merry Christ

Information on different inks.

Good afternoon everyone. Madeline of Mold II club has sent through to me some sheets of information regarding different inks & their uses.  She thought it might be interesting to everyone else. Madeline sent the information as PDF's which I cannot put directly into the blog - so I have used a piece of software i have to produce jpegs of them.  There are 4 in total.  I hope the photos are clear enough, please let me know if you don't find them easy to view.  If you wish I could then send them to you via email. This is the clearest I can get them, in order to fit the page - especially the bottom one. Thank you Madeline for sharing this.

Another celebrity leaves us.

Good afternoon ladies Today the photos are of the CSNW ladies Show & Tell for December. I se the challenge & sent them notes on how to make --- a Balcony Card. Here are their cards;                                                Amy Four views of Amy's card.  Very pretty colours & lovely card Grace Three views of Grace's card. Great Christmas design. Gwen Two views of Gwen's card. It looks like she has adapted the design a little, as there is a back to it. So! the balcony card built onto a base card shape. Love the embellishments. Me This is my card I do love the design of the card & think I will be using it quite a bit next year. Ruth A lovely Christmas version from Ruth - love the colour & the use of the words in the background. Once again ladies - lovely cards. You really seem to be getting to grips with making them straight from the printed instructions.  Well done. It is clear to see why this was called the balcony card & the beauty of it is - i

Mold II photos

Good evening all I hope you are well. This evening I have the photos of Mold II's Show & Tell cards for this month.  Carolyn set the challenge - which was this sketch; Here are their cards Annette Very delicate colouring & style from Annette. Carolyn Very delicate card from Carolyn with lovely embossed panels. Dot Dot typed up a repeat of 'With Sympathy' in various fonts and cut out two sections.  Then she typed up the words and inserted them into a circle shape on the computer. Nice and simple. Elizabeth Two designs from Elizabeth using this delightful Christmas scene in the panels. Elma A nice Christmas card design from Elma. Helen Helen used mainly ink & stencils with a bit of die-cutting . Madeline The bright blue is kind of plastic fabric and looks fine but on the photo it is patchy,  and Madeline thinks it must be the glue which the camera is picking up Me I loved this sketch & chose delicate pink for the caed. Gave me an opportunity to use these 3 flo

Good morning all. This morning I have photos of the recent Mold club Show & Tell, where Joanna set the challenge - "Embrace the Space".  I wonder how that was interpreted. Ann Two cards from Ann - similar images but different backgrounds.  Definitely using the space. Helen Beautiful dragonflies leaving some natural negative space. Janet A pretty Christmas card with a hint of decoration in the background.  Nice use of negative space Joan Very good use of negative space. Lovely image. Joanna Two cards from Joanna - both using the negative space approach Lynn Wow Lynn was busy - the challenge seems to have inspired  her Christmas card making. Mair A sweet little robin in this negative space design. Maureen Maureen went for the negative look, but then wasn't happy, so.............. ............................... she added a poinsettia.  It did finish the card off Maureen & still left negative space. Me I wasn't sure whether  should leave space or use space. So I
