Some recent cards

Image
Good evening everyone. I hope you ladies are having a brilliant Mother's Day & being thoroughly spoilt,   I have some of my recent cards to show you today.  On Facebook there is a group I follow for making memory albums & the person whose FB page it is has recently started showing different card designs. So I thought I would join in, as it also helps to use up all the paper pads I have bought over the years. Here are my recent ones; Double Fold Card essentially - 2 cards in one front view Bird's eye view to show how it fits. Staircase Card Double Z-fold Card I couldn't find amongst my papers any toppers that would fit with the papers I had. So, I made my own background paper & Topper using my old "My Craft Studio" digital system. Front view Bird's eye view His designs usually fit either a 5x7 envelope or a 6x6 one. So no need to make any especially or take ages hunting for one to use. Very handy. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Take care.

Member showcase

Good morning everyone. This morning I have another member showcase & it is from another Mold II member - this time Dot. This is a card Dot made for her son who is a keen cyclist. This is what Dot said in her email; "Here is my latest card made for my cycling-mad son's upcoming birthday.   I  cut up a map, one showing Brandon (his name) and the other  showing Stockport where Edgeley is a suburb. I think he will get a kick out of that!   I found a free , cycle-related verse on the internet and a tongue-in-cheek definition of a 'Cyclopath'.   The only bit of stamping are the words Adventure and Strava which I cut out into tiles,  diamond-glazed to make the words pop, and affixed these around the oval.   I was quite pleased with the result and think he will like it." He will be delighted I am sure, Dot. Thank you for sending it in.

Good evening everyone, I hope you are all having a good weekend. This afternoon I have a member showcase for you with 2 cards recently made by Madeline of Mold II club. A lovely delicate card made for a friend. Now, if I remember correctly Madeline made this one at the time of the Show & Tell using 3 shades of one colour.  She wasn't so happy with it & sent another card. Thank you for sending the photos in Madeline it is so nice to see what you are all up to between the monthly challenges. Keep them coming in ladies. Another one waiting in the wings. Take care & stay safe.

CSNW Photos

Good morning everyone I hope you are all well & still hanging in there with the lockdown. Today Bob & I will have our second Covid jab, so another step forward. The photos I have for you today are from the Show & Tell challenge I set for the CSNW ladies. I have been pushing them a little but they have been taking it all on. Here is the sample I made for them to see. The little piece of card in the front is just an explanation I put with each step photo I sent them. This is a "bird-eye view" This is another view inside. The card has a pocket on the right inside & the smaller card is attached in such away that when the card is closed the smaller card slips further into the pocket.  Then when you open the card it pops out. Here are the cards made by the ladies & there will be various views of the cards. Amy I had to play around with the colour on Amy's card as the photo were a little pale. Lighting can also affect the colour in photos, as can be seen by
