Another recent card

Hi - just popping back in with another of my Hunkdory cards - made for a friends daughter-in-law;

Slightly more simple than the earlier one - but I cut a second rose & placed it on sticky pads & placed over the base rose.  Some gems & ribbon to complete it, along with the little happy birthday tag.

Once again - that is all I popped in for.

More soon.  'Bye for now.

A recent card

Hello everyone - I thought I would pop in with a recent card I made for my brothers girlfriend.

I made it using the Hunkdory pack that I won a few months ago;

It is one of those that is a single layer with a little easel stand at the back to stand it up by. I just love those colours.

That's all I popped in for - have another one to show you later.
'Bye for now.

mold photos - part 2

Hello everyone I hope you are having a nice weekend.

This post - I have the photos of the Mold meeting project which was those little pop-up box cards. Sheelagh showed the group how to make them & I am going to start the display off with the complete range that she brought with her.

Aren't they great & I think this last one was the one Sheelagh made whilst she showed everyone how to make them.

Here are the ones the ladies made;

Pretty in pink

I think these were felt or foam flowers on this one.

Flowers & presents on this one

A great masculine one - love it.

Very delicate flowers.

A lovely owl one - owls are really on trend at the moment.

I just love the paper on the front of the box - very elegant.

Aren't those faces lovely - I believe there is going to be a castle on the back of this one.
The faces are princesses & I believe it is for a little princess.

This looks like there is more to go in this one - but it has a lovely fresh look.

So that is me finished for today - I will be back with some more as soon as I can.

mold photos - part 1

Good evening everyone, I am sorry I haven't written anything for a couple of days but things are a little hectic here & this will continue for a couple of weeks.  But I will pop in as much as I can.

Yesterday evening was the June meeting of the Mold club & in this post I have the photos of their Show & Tell cards where the theme was Buttons & Bows;

Isn't that little character adorable & such a lovely colour scheme

A really clever use of bows - it took me a moment or two to spot them.  Can you see them?

A beautiful underwater scene

Another cut little character & a delicate colour scheme

Very chic - love the paper bow.

What a great background multi-layer buttons.

Well, lilac really was flavour of the evening - beautiful card.

That's the Show & Tell - I willl put the photos of the project here over the weekend.

workshop photos - part 2

Hello again - here we are with the remaining photos from Saturdays workshop;

That's all the photos.

There were several different resist technique methods & materials used, a faux leather & a faux patina sample & a mixed media topper.

It wasn't my intention that all these items were put onto cards - as the day was about techniques & different ways to create, but some of the ladies as you will have noticed did find time to matt & layer some of their pieces & even go so far as to create a card.

Several of them as they left asked for another workshop soon - so I had better get my head in gear & see what I can come up with.

Well, that's my postings for today - I have to get a bit domesticated now, as there is a rather large pile of ironing waiting to be done.

Tomorrow I have one of my crochet groups - so different hat.

'Bye for now.
