Good afternoon everyone I hope your weekend is going well. At the Mold meeting a week ago Thursday, Sheelagh one of the members, brought in her project from the October meeting. It wasn't that it hadn't been photographed it was because she wasn't at the meeting & made it at home from the project notes. The project was the pull up concertina hanging, & Sheelagh made two.  One a little smaller than the other - so Joanna took a photo of the two together to show the difference. Here are the photos; Three different views of Sheelagh's work on the one of the size in the project A photo with the two sizes made by Sheelagh, side by side. Thank you for bringing them to the meeting Sheelagh & I am sorry I missed it & thank you to Joanna for sending the photos. If Sheelagh is unable to attend a meeting she always try to make the project at home.  Well done Sheelagh - they are really lovely. Other member showcases to come. T

Mold II photos - part 2

Good morning everyone on a nice sunny, bright but rather cold morning. This morning I have the second set of photos from the Mold II meeting on Tuesday & this time they are of their project.  This set of photos will be a little different to usual in that I won't be making any comments.  The reason being that, apart from the sheet of A4 card for the base card, the rest of the materials were provided by Carolyn & all materials were the same. Its a stepper card. Therefore the cards are virtually identical.  Just little tweaks.  But I wanted you to see that they were in fact made by everyone. Here we go; Thank Carolyn for another brilliant card design.  Everyone really enjoyed this one & I can see it being used throughout the coming year. Also a special thank you Carolyn for taking the photos & forwarding them to me - it is much appreciated. That's it for today ladies - more over the weekend.  I hope you have lots of

Good afternoon everyone I hope you are all well. This afternoon I have the first set of photos from Tuesday's Mold II meeting & they are of their Show & Tell card which was to be a Kinetic card. Seeing as there is now nice name cards which go with the photographs I don't think I will put the names above the photos anymore.  Should a card get missed then I will state whose work it is. Here are their cards; A lovely pop-up cottage on the inside of Carolyn's card. It's been a long time since we did a pop--up in that style -  I think Carolyn may very well show how in the New Year sometime. A pretty z-fold card from Carol - such cute paper. They always look nice, whether simple in decoration or with more embellishments on. A veritable garden inside Helen's card. Helen is really into her flower dies & also making her own background papers. Lovely baubles on Elma's card. Sadly there is no photo of the inside of the

Just chatting

Hello everyone - just thought I would pop in for a quick chat. I meant to say in my last blog post that I have a collection of member showcases to write up, & of course after last night's Mold II meeting there will be photos of their Show & Tell also their project cards. I will also eventually have photos of the Christmas cards I have made this year.  But I will hang back on showing you those until a little closer to Christmas when I am sure most people will have opened theirs. Have a good day. I am off to my craft room to finish some more Christmas cards & to make some little gifts as well. 'Bye for now.

Hello again This time I have the photos of all her sample cards that Joanna took along to the meeting last Thursday. Thank you Joanna. Those are beautiful samples & don't they look good in a group. I have read the instructions & think I am OK with them - so I will be making one of these soon.  Probably use it for one of the many birthday cards that will be required in the new year, but it will be after  all my Christmas cards are finished.

Good morning everyone - its a bit of a grey & wet one, isn't it? This morning I have the second set of photos from the Mold meeting last Thursday.  This time they are of their project for the evening, which was set by Joanna. Thank you to Joanna for once again taking the photos & sending them on to me.  Basically there were about 2 of each as Joanna took them flat & standing up.  I am probably going to show the ones where they are standing up. For this evening we also had a visitor - Lynn's Mum who has visited us before.  Joanna wasn't sure she had remembered her name correctly - so just in case - I will label her photo - "Lynn's Mum" A vertical z-fold card; Janet Two styles from Janet The first one in the multi-media style & the second one a little more traditional In this photo you can see the embellishment at the top that holds the  z-fold together to close the card for standing up. Joan  Adorable pengui

Good morming everyone Over the weekend I received the photos of the Mold club (Thursday) meeting from Joanna & today I have the first set to show you.  They are of their Show & Tell cards where Joanna had set the theme of "Trees". Thank you very much for the photos Joanna. Here we go - the cards & a really lovely mix of styles. Janet I wold call this mixed media. There is stencilling,  masking, script & tree stamps. Great card Joan Don't you just want to stop doing what you are doing & take a walk along that footpath, & isn't that sentiment so true Joanna Ooh - I like the wood background - very different & that tree stencil too. Lynn Four cards from Lynn one for each season. Love them. Mair A very stylised tree from Mair in the first of her three tree cards. Maureen That scene locks cold & frosty & Joanna mentioned that it was glittery which sadly doe
