Mold II photos - part 2

Image
Updated Saturday morning. I had an email from Carolyn providing the name for the card without a name tab Good afternoon everyone.  Bit of a grey looking day to day & the weather for the weekend doesn't sound good either.  Never mind I am sure your plans will not be affected by the weather. This afternoon I have the second set of photos from the Mold II meeting on Tuesday evening.  This time they are of their project - a card with a box frame topper. The first card is the sample card I made & was shown to the ladies back in November; & now for those made by the ladies -  Two cards from Dot A lovely bouquet in the frame of Dot's first card &  what a clever match between the background paper & the flowers. The second card has a clean & crisp finish & I like the way the threads have been left at the 2 opposite corners. A really pretty celebration card from Elizabeth & what a great bow.  I can never tie mine

Good morning everyone. Today I have the first set of photos from the Mold II club meeting on Tuesday & today the photos are of their Show & Tell cards.  The theme was open but the design was a sketch. Here is the sketch; & here are their cards; Such delicate colouring from Carolyn & lots of different textures. A really nice masculine card from Dot.   Dot is famous for her recycling in card making. Nice clean & crisp pink design from Dawn Elizabeth went back in time, in the crafting sense,  & used tea-bag folding for her bright & cheerful card Elma's lovely autumnal colours & mixture of papers is so pretty & stylish. Two football cards from Carol, in 2 colourways, so as not to offend friends with differing teams 😀 Lovely colours & papers on Cathy's cards. Nice shabby chic style. Coffee & cream colours from Annette with that lovely perfume bottle in the

Good morning everyone. The start of January is rather busy for me with quite a few birthdays, plus a couple in early February that have to be sent abroad.  So I have made quite a few cards recently. Two friends had birthdays on January 1st - but I gave them cards from some I had made last year & those you have already seen.  Very close after them it was Bob's birthday - so that is the card I am going to show you today. You may recall from posts I have done in the past that Bob loves vintage steam trains so this image I found was ideal.  The map is of the local area as you can possibly tell. I created the topper through Craft Artist adding the "Happy Birthday" on the side.  Then I printed it twice & cut around the train right hand side & 3-d it onto the base image. Very pleased with it & also quite appropriate as last Saturday we had a day on a steam train going from Manchester to Carlisle & back (coming back a different route to going).

Happy Birthday Joanna

Mold photos - part 2

Good afternoon everyone on a nice sunny crisp day. This afternoon I have the photos from last Thursday Mold club meeting & they are of the project cards which this time was the Teepee Card. I was shown this little card some time ago by Annette of Mold II club - in fact we received one as a Christmas card this time. Here to start the photos off is the one I took along as an sample.  So, it is my card & there will be several views of each card; Now those made by the ladies.   As there are a lot of photographs I probably won't "talk" too much Great cup cakes. Joan had made one of these before & had the card with her. The next four photos are of Joanna's card & because she hadn't added a topper to hers, she took the photos of  hers at home so there is not a name card. & a view of the decorated inside as well
