Good afternoon everyone. Well - the rain has stopped - for now - but it still very warm, isn't it. This afternoon I have 2 lovely cards to show you - from Joan of Mold club. They are lovely Joan & so fresh looking. I have been going through the photos that I have received from the Mold ladies over the last weeks, & will show a few more over the next few days.  I have fallen behind with showing them. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. 'Bye for now.

What have you been doing during Covid-19

Good afternoon everyone on another hot sultry day. I have got a little behind with showing member showcases & the things they have been maing during the lock-down - so I must try & catch up.  At the moment I get so caught up trying to get on top of my various projects it slips my mind.  So, my apologies. Here is the first one & it is from Sheelagh of Mold club. Now Sheelagh does a lot of crafting for charities & this photo of things she has been making deserve a rather large WOW! Sheelagh said her brother had handed her some wool - so she set too & used it. Everything is fabulous Sheelagh you have been busy. That's it today ladies.  'Bye for now & enjoy your weekend.

A big thank you.

A big thank you to everyone who kindly sent me a birthday card. They look amazing displayed all round my lounge. I always feel very humbled by the cards you send me & even more so at this time. Because Bob & I cannot go out (except that visit to the hospital) I have been unable to send birthday cards out. I will of course in about a week show photos of them here on the blog. I am not doing very much today - not so much because it is my birthday -  but it is too hot to do anything.  My craft room gets like an oven. Thank you once again. Enjoy this gorgeous weather & stay safe & well.

My "little" project

Good afternoon ladies - what a glorious day! I thought that today I would show you some photos of a little project I undertook on Monday with a little time on Tuesday as well. Over the years the clubs have been running we have sometimes exchanged ATC's & the ones I received, & indeed made, have built up. So, I thought it was time they had a proper home. Here it is; It was an idea I saw on Facebook & was supposed to have had about 4 double pages. That wouldn't have been enough for my ATC's so I did more & in the end had to make a belly band to keep it closed. Here are some of the pages - in fact, its all the pages except the blank ones; It's much nicer looking through them in a little book rather than in plastic pockets in a folder. I think there are some more in another folder - so will have to look for them. That will mean making another mini book - 😉 I have made another album - the

Good afternoon everyone - I do hope you are all keeping safe & well. Before I get to the photos - I can tell you that my emails are now back to normal. Bob has changed the programme I used & it is more efficient.  The hardest part was moving all my contacts.  But everything is back to normal now. The photos from the Mold II club today are of their June Show & Tell which was devised by Madeline -- Sunburst Cards. Here are their photos; Agnes Agnes made 2 cards in different card sizes & orientation. Love those papers - in the first card -  I have just used some of them on an album for our grandson's photo. Annette 2 cards with very different approaches In this one the stripes spread out from the centre. Carol Pretty in pink from Carol Love the rosette. Carolyn said her stripes didn't work out well - but the snowflake was useful. A useful design for Christmas cards. Ceri 2 cards Ceri was busy for fath

Good evening everyone. Today I have the photos from Mold club's Show & Tell from last Thursday. The challenge was set by Janet, who asked that we made a card - or cards, using stamps that we had had for a while but not used.  She also wanted a photo of the stamp(s) in their pristine condition to prove that they had not been used before. There will be quite a few photos because of the stamps & the cards; Janet A  nice background stamp My friend Caroline first came up with this idea & they are making a come back again.  added to some leaves & twigs & put together - makes a stunning card.  Joan A collage stamp Very versatile stamp, Can simply be used as is or all the little sections used differently giving other finishes. showing it decorated & plain Joanna A good old mounted red rubber stamp How many stampers have still got these in their stash. a lovely design  & than a fant
