More little surprises!

Good afternoon everyone.

Goodness where did this weekend go!

On Saturday we popped over to see our Grandson, as we hadn't seen him (& our son & daughter-in-law as well), for a little while. We had a lovely afternoon & evening & I had lots & lots of cuddles & fun - it was lovely.  Lots of photos taken too.

Back in February I showed you some little cards ( you will find them HERE ).  Well, I have received 2 more since then & thought I would show them to you.

The first one I received was this one -


It is just a single sheet & so clean & fresh.
The sides of the bottles have had glossy accents added to them which makes them look quite realistic. It has also been used on the blue rose.


Then just a couple of days ago I received this little one.
This is soooo cute! 
With the photo for this one appearing under the photo for the other card it is hard to realise its size.
In fact it measures about 2.5" x 2"

The one with the vases & rose is about standard 6"  x 4"

They are again from Rachel of Mild club & really do brighten up my days.  Thank you.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

Jayne Nestorenko

Good morning I was informed this morning, by Rita of Mold II club, that Jayne Nestorenko had passed away on Saturday evening after a long illness. I suspect that there may be some amongst you who do not know of her - but many who do. I followed Jayne's work for a long time & many of those lovely large wooden stamps that were around came into my collection beause of her enthusiasm & creativity. I particularly enjoyed using, & held many workshops at Daleside, to show how to use the Treasure Box stamps which were very popular; I cannot now remember who made those stamps & there were different sizes & you made different shaped boxes according to how many pieces you stamped.  Then of course you also had the matching medallion stamp to place on the top of the box. The crafting world is saddened by the loss of this lovely lady. Sleep peacefully Jayne.
