csnw photos - part 2

Good afternoon everyone - a slightly grey weekend & blowy, never mind we will all still enjoy it, wont we?

This afternoon I have the second set of photos from the CSNW meeting on Wednesday & today they are of their project which was an interesting shaped card going by the name of "Easel style star card".

Here are their cards;

A little description.
The card is made of 2 sections, from one base card, & then the side pieces are crossed over popped into a couple of slits to complete the card.

Joan's card is so prettily set off by that little floral bouquet topper

Pretty delicate floral pattern & a very stylised greeting as the topper on Grace's card.

Another delicate background paper for Ann's card & a bold greeting topper.

Gwen has used delicate pink for her card with a greeting topper & a lovely butterfly to set it off.

Some pretty floral & a butterfly die-cut decorate Claire's card

The double topper on Ruth's card really turns this fun shape into an elegant card.

As you look at these cards you may notice slight differences in the shape as it all hinges on how far up the base section the slits are cut & how much the second part overlaps.

Well done ladies they look lovely.

That is me for today - enjoy the weekend. More cards tomorrow.
'Bye for now.
