Christmas cards

Good afternoon everyone & what a nice afternoon it has turned out to be - so blue skies & sunshine not that awful rain.

This afternoon I just have a photo of 2 little cards I have made mainly for a Christmas card workshop I am doing in 2 weeks time.  They are also the project for CSNW's October meeting.

It's called a twisted gate-fold card

   

This photo shows them stood upright


& this one shows them laying down & held by the closure.

They are a quick & simple card which I thought would be an idea to start the workshop with, as I won't have any idea of the expertise of those ladies attending.  I can then judge it from there & bring in different style of cards accordingly.

I hope your weekend is going well.  We have just had a very nice couple of hours with a visit from Gareth, Elayne & Gwion, & I got to have a really long cuddle time with him.  Lovely!  Oh  I did let Granddad have a cuddle too.  That is - with Gwion  ðŸ˜‰

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

 Just to let the CSNW ladies know I have updated the page showing their Show & Tell cards for this month. Due to a problem with WhatsApp I didn't receive Ruth's card - I have now & have updated the post to include her card.
