Mold II photos - part 2

Hello everyone.

As I am writing this on Wednesday afternoon I have no idea what the weather is like.

The photos I have for you today are of the project from Tuesday nights meeting of the Mold II club. This was a little card called "Envelope Flap Card".

Now, I have 2 little stories about the meeting & the card.  Firstly as I mentioned in yesterday's post I had had a text message from Helen to say she was not well enough to go to the meeting, she was also checking if it was this Tuesday or next Tuesday.  It was then that I realised that in my head it was next Tuesday, even though it was on the blog for the right day.  If I hadn't had that text from Helen I might not have gone to the meeting - I think that is the one & only time I have had the dates confused in all the time the clubs have been going.

So, secondly, the next stage is that in the morning I went into panic mode as I hadn't made a sample card yet because I thought I had another week.  I had shown one back in November but as it had a Christmas theme it had gone in the lucky dip.  So a quick check to see if had kept notes & a couple of samples made.  At the meeting Carol had been the person to get my card from the lucky dip & had brought it along to the meeting.  This made me discover that I had made the 2 samples that day slightly differently.  Not to worry both types were shown & I also encourage the ladies to "go" with their own idea.

I hope the rest of 2019 will be better! 😀

Here are their cards - but first the Christmas sample I made in this style- I haven't yet photographed the 2 that I made for the evening;

Now for the ladies cards;

Carol always does such delicate, crisp & clean cards & it is reflected again in this one.
Delicate blue & white with tiny images & some pretty lace.

Another person who creates delicate design is Annette & this is really "clean & simple".
Beautiful

Something completely different from Elma who at the moment loves working with dies & fun foam, which I seem to remember from last year she sometimes uses as stamps.

A delicate double layer butterfly is the main focal point on Elizabeth's card, along with some really petty ribbon & lace. Beautiful.

Chris made really good use of some double-sided card for this lovely floral card, & then found in her stash that lovely white flower which sits perfectly in the centre of the flap.

Whilst showing Chris's card - I forgot to include in the last post one of Chris's Show & Tell cards.  She had made it for the November meeting but forgot to bring it that evening - so she brought it along on Tuesday.  It is from the card design that Carolyn showed the ladies at their October meeting;

That holly wreath on the main image has been decoupaged to about 3 levels - a lot of fine cutting out.
It's beautiful Chris.

Well that's all from me this time.
'Bye for now.
