Just popping in

Hi everyone
I am just popping in quickly having not long got home from the Mold meeting.

We had a really good evening as Joanna showed us how to make the Telescopic card - I took lots of pictures & also pictures of the show & tell which a black & white Christmas card.

I will show those tomorrow as it will take me quite a bit of time to upload them, crop them & resize them.  If I try doing them I will make mistakes.

But I can pop one photo in here 0 a belated view of Gareth's birthday card that I made him.  he photographed it & sent me a copy & I have meant to put it on here each time I have sat & blogged.  So here it is now.


It looks almost brown here but it is in fact black card on white with the gold images.  Part of the car images show the workings of the car engine - quite unusual really.

I am meeting up with Caroline & Liz tomorrow - we are going to Inspirations the wholesale flower people - dried flowers that is.  But they sell lots of Christmas stuff at this time of year - decorations, vases, trees - loads & loads of things.

Well I am off to bed - remember to look for the photos tomorrow.

CSNW Photos & last post

 Good afternoon ladies this afternoon I have the photos from the CSNW S&T for June. The theme I set was any theme of their choosing but using the colours red, white & blue.  Here are their cards. Amy Two nice classic style cards from Amy Grace Simplicity is the key here They are so elegant too. Gwen Beautiful embossed card & flowers which have been decoupaged Joan A stepper card with a beautiful circular central topper. Thank you ladies for sending them in - certainly very different styles today. So! - Last post? Over the last year or so all 3 clubs have been getting themselves sorted out in order to continue running the clubs from now on. Remember I announced in 2019 that I would be standing back at the end of 2020 & retiring.  I will of course keep in touch & visit the meetings now & again.  But it is now time for me to hang up my stamps.  Well not literally as I will still make cards - but you know what I meant. All 3 clubs now have the way forward sorted.  C

 Just to let the CSNW ladies know I have updated the page showing their Show & Tell cards for this month. Due to a problem with WhatsApp I didn't receive Ruth's card - I have now & have updated the post to include her card.
