An important message for CSNW ladies
Good morning everyone
I have just popped in quickly this morning with a message for the ladies of CSNW group, which relates to a matter of business at last night's meeting. I will put some of this on your club page as well.
Please note that for the November meeting we will be in a different room. It is the one at the end of the entrance hall on the left past the kitchen. I was asked by Maureen (the caretaker) if I would mind moving due to a group who have started meeting every week & are using the room we normally have & it meant moving them last night. She said the other room was nicer. I got to look at it at the end of the evening & it does look good. Now! one or two of you felt that as we had been there so long we shouldn't be the ones to move, & I agree. However I have agreed that we will try the room next month & see what it is like. I then asked Maureen if we would be able to stay with our original room if we weren't happy in the new room. Her reply was - "Of course, after all you have been here the longest".
After looking at the room - it does appear bigger - there were already some tables set up in a similar manner to how we have ours & there seems to be more room around the edges. Of course we will only be able to tell once we are all there with our bags etc. There are some really nice looking chairs - but sometimes a more basic chair is best when sitting like we do.
So, we will give it a look at & try it in November. If the majority of you would rather stay where we have always been then we will return to "our" room, & Maureen is fine with that.
